MVP Agent

River

The unified Onelist AI - combining knowledge navigation, GTD-based life management, and proactive assistance into one trusted assistant.

River consolidates what were previously separate agents: Jarvis (query/synthesis), Onelist AI (assistant), and Life Steward (GTD organization) into one relationship.

What is River?

River is Onelist's singular AI personality - the voice, face, and intelligence of the entire system. Rather than multiple specialized agents that users must learn to address, River is the one assistant users talk to.

The name "River" embodies David Allen's GTD concept of "mind like water" - a mental state where you respond appropriately to inputs without anxiety about forgotten commitments, then return to calm.

Why "River"?

🌊
Rivers flow - things move through the system, never stagnant
Always moving - River is always aware, always processing
📦
Carries things - carries your commitments to their destinations
🌿
Tributaries - other agents and sources feed into River
🍃
Natural - feels organic, personal, approachable

River Processes

  1. 1. Is it actionable? → Next action or Reference/Trash
  2. 2. Where does it belong? → Domain/Scope/Project
  3. 3. What type? → Task, Idea, Note, Decision
  4. 4. Any context? → @phone, @computer, etc.
  5. 5. Any connections? → Links to existing entries

Vague → Concrete Transformation

River converts vague intentions into concrete next actions:

"What's the next action? Buy gift? Plan party? Call her?"
"Website stuff"
"Can you be more specific? What exactly needs to happen?"
"Think about career"
"This seems like reflection. Add to Someday/Maybe?"
"Call John about project"
✓ Good next action! Context: @phone. Add to Next Actions?

You:
"Give me a briefing on the website redesign project"
River:
"Website Redesign is 60% complete. 4 tasks done, 3 in progress, 2 waiting on design team. Critical path: waiting for brand guidelines from Sarah (3 days overdue). Timeline at risk..."
